5 Tattoo's I Love But Won't Be Getting

Hey Whisperers,

If you've been a reader of my blog for a while now you'll know that i absolutely  love tattoo's and piercings. Another thing that i love is Pintrest, so of course, I made a pintrest board for tattoo's i love and over the past few years it's grown and grown and so today I thought that I'd share with you 5 of the tattoo's that i absolutely love but won't be getting. I hope you enjoy!

5 Tattoo's I Love But Won't Be Getting

The first tattoo i absolutely love is this anklet tattoo, now i know I've put it on this list but i would still really love to get it. To me it just looks so elegant and pretty yet it's something different too, something that you don't see everywhere which is what i love about tattoos. Although I do love this tattoo it does have a lot of detail in it and it's in a sensitive place so it would be a super long and painful tattoo to get. I do definitely want to get a tattoo like this one though, maybe one with just a little bit less detail.

This anagram is one that i saw and fell in love with years ago when i was super obsessed with Tumblr and I've loved it ever since. If you haven't seen the anagram EHFAR before it stands for Everything Happens For A Reason, which i love and 100% believe in. Now although i do love the anagram I'm not a huge fan of text tattoos for me, I've seen loads on other people that i love but i don't think they would suit me very well, so i definitely won't be getting this tattoo.

Behind the ear tattoo's have always been some of my favourites, this one was one of the first tattoo's that i fell in love with and it was the tattoo i wanted for sooo long, then one day i just didn't love it anymore. Alike the anklet tattoo it has a lot of detail which means it would be a super long and painful tattoo to get, which by no means makes it not worth it, but for me it is just not the kind of design that i want anymore.

This tattoo was one of the first ever tattoo's that i ever wanted, i absolutely love how it looks and it is so elegant and pretty, but it is also super popular. One thing i want my tattoo's to be is different, i don't want to have the same tattoo that thousands of other people have and that would be the case if i got this tattoo. Back when i first fell in love with it, it was popular but it's become even more popular now so I've kind of gone off it.

When i turned 18 this was the only tattoo that i wanted, I'd planned it for years, decided what i wanted to add and what i wanted to take away. Then one day i realised that it just wasn't me anymore. I love skulls, i don't know why but i absolutely love them, and i still definitely want a tattoo with one in but i just think this one is a representation of what i used to be like instead of what I'm like now. I still think it is incredibly beautiful but i don't think i could ever get it.

I think that tattoo's are absolutely beautiful and each and everyone is a piece of art, i can't wait to finally decide on a design for my first tattoo and actually get it done. I will definitely be blogging about that whole experience when i finally do it so keep your eyes peeled for that post, hopefully it won't be too long from now!

Do you have any tattoo's?
If so let me know what they are below or send me a picture on twitter here!

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara Review

Hey Whisperers,

Covergirl has always been a makeup brand I've wanted to try, but living in the UK it was pretty much impossible for me to try it, unless i ordered it online. While shopping in TkMaxx the other day i came across the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara for £2.99 by the tills so i had to pick it up and of course i also had to review it for you guys, so i hope you enjoy.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara Review

Lets Talk Packaging

One thing i love most about this mascara is the packaging, i love how bright the tube is because if like me, you're a huge makeup hoarder, it's hard to find an exact mascara especially when they all look the same. Another thing i love about the packaging is the metallic silver writing, however I don't think it will last long, i think it's the kind of labelling that will wear off if you use it too often. Overall it's pretty much your standard mascara packaging, well apart from it being bright green of course.

The applicator on this product is also one that i really love. It's not massive or bulky like a lot of other mascaras that I've tried, instead it's pretty small with a slight curve which makes coating each lash super easy. Now, one thing that isn't too great about this applicator is that it is super spiky. If you get it too close to the root of your lashes it can feel quite spiky on your eye which is never fun. The 'handle' is also super smooth so if like me you're super clumsy it is super easy to drop as you can't get a super good grip on it.

The Results

Honestly, I'm quite impressed with this mascara. It separated my lashes pretty well and it is super black. I do wish that it would have made them a little longer but for £2.99 i can't really complain. One thing that this mascara did do very well was curl my lashes, one of the biggest problems that i have with my lashes is that they pretty much stick out straight when they have nothing on them, this mascara however curled them pretty well and they stayed curled all day. Now this mascara does also claim to be waterproof and when i have worn it it has been quite difficult to remove and  it does stick put so i do think it is a good option if you're looking for something waterproof.

Overall Thoughts

Overall I'm pretty impressed with this mascara, it isn't the best mascara i have ever tried but it is pretty good and i have found myself reaching for it quite a lot since i got it. I do like to layer my mascaras so layering this over the top of my TASH mascara is my favourite combination at the minute. I of course did get mine from TkMaxx but you can get this mascara online from Amazon here for £2.94 with £1.99 P&P.

Birchbox Unboxing - July 2017

Hey Whisperers,

It's Birchbox time again! If you're new to my blog, each month i unbox my monthly Birchbox subscription box and go through each product with you. Before subscribing to Birchbox i loved reading other peoples unboxings so now I'm a subscriber I couldn't not share what i get each month too. So lets get into the unboxing.

What Is Birchbox?

If you're new to Birchbox, Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that you receive each month with 5 products to try out. The products can range from sample size to full size and they also range in price. All products in the box can be found on the Birchbox website where the box is purchased for £12.95 each month. Some months you will receive an email where you can either choose a product or a box/bag design which i love as it lets you make the bag/products a little more of your style! This month's theme was Summer Daze which of course if perfect for the coming summer months. I'm in love with this months box design too it's so pretty.

What I Got This Month?

RRP £25.50

This Benefit Lip and Cheek stain was this month's pick your shade product, you could pick between the Cha Cha Tint (which i chose) and the Go Go Tint when you logged into your Birchbox account. Personally I'm not a huge fan of products like these so I'm probably going to add this to my Giveaway pile or I'll give it to a friend. The colour is super subtle and it does seem like a good product but the sample size of it is so tiny it's 2.5ml so it wouldn't last long at all, so although it is of course a great brand I'm not too impressed with the size.

RRP £7.99

I am so intrigued by this product. When i first saw it in my box i thought it was some kind of lip scrub but i was quite surprised when i saw that it was a deodorant. I haven't yet tried it out but I'm definitely going to in the next few weeks. To me it smells like a candle and unfortunately because i don't love the smell of coconut I'm not in love with it, I'm hoping that once it's on it won't be as super strong like it is in the jar. I am quite excited to try it though.

RRP £20

I was super disappointed  when I saw this product in my box, as i said last month i seem to be getting quite a lot of hair care products and even now that I've changed my beauty profile I'm still getting them. Another thing that bothered me about this product is that I've already received a product from this brand before which although isn't the worst thing in the world is a little annoying as one of the main things that Birchbox promises is trying out new brands each month. This is an overnight leave in balm that you wash out in the morning, it is supposed to leave your hair super soft and nourished.

RRP £35

I was so happy to see this perfume sample in my box. I don't think I've ever received a perfume sample in Birchbox before so this was something new for me. This perfume smells incredible it's super floral and sweet and it's pretty much the perfect summer scent. It smells so musky and comforting which i know sounds weird but it just makes you feel so cosy and warm. I may order the full size of this perfume the next time i get paid because it smells incredible!

RRP £16

Balance Me is another very popular brand in Birchbox, I'm pretty sure this is the third or fourth product that I've received from them which is pretty annoying. This micellar water is a pretty cute 'travel size' product with 30ml of product. It does however have a super herbal scent which I'm not a big fan of, especially considering it's going to be on my face which means I'll have no choice but to smell it. I'll probably try it out but I'm not super excited about it.

Full Size RRP £12.50

Last but definitely not least is my favourite product in this months box. The Tangle Teaser Compact Styler, I've wanted to buy a tangle teaser for so long but as you can tell from the price of this one they're quite pricey for just a hair brush. This compact one comes with a lid/cover which is perfect for taking it on the go and I'm in love with the colour of it. I pretty much used it as soon as i got it and i fell in love instantly. I have pretty knotty hair and this combed through it so easily and didn't pull or tug at my hair at all. I love it .

Total RRP For This Months Box

£116.99

Overall I'm not super impressed with this months box, the only  products I'm excited for are the Perfume, Tangle Teaser and the Deodorant. I don't know if I'm going to be keeping my Birchbox subscription much longer as i haven't been to impressed with my boxes recently so if you have any other boxes you'd like to see me unbox let me know down below!

If you want to try out Birchbox you can use my link here to get £5 off your first box making it just £7.95!

As Always,

New Look Blush Baked Face Powder Review

Hey Whisperers,

Another week, another highlighter. Last week while scrolling through the ASOS sale i came across the New Look Baked Face Powder, i haven't tried any of New Looks makeup range, but I'd heard a few things online so of course, I decided to order it. I've used it a few times now and i thought i would share my thoughts with you, so lets get into the post.

New Look Blush Baked Face Powder Review

Packaging

Now if you've been a reader of my blog for a while you'll know that I am a huge fan of packaging and I am i love with the packaging of this powder. It's so sleek and black and i love that you can see the product through the plastic lid. One thing i didn't love so much was how hard it was to open, i don't know if it's just my powder that's hard to open or if the whole range is the same but apart from that i love it. The only thing i wish this product had was a mirror but i do love the see through lid so i don't mind too much .

Product and Price

Now the actual product is a pretty decent size it has 9g of product which is quite close to the Mac Mineralise Skin finish powders that have 10g of product in. I don't know what i was really expecting from this product, The product itself is called Pale Blush  however when i tested it out there was no doubt in my mind that this was a highlighting product for me, it's super shimmery and glittery and pretty much the perfect highlighting shade for summer. It is a little more on the warmer peach side but it works perfectly when you've got bronzer on. Now for the price i got this for £3! It was on sale from £7.99 so i knew i had to grab it, because it is on the warmer side I probably won't be using it outside of the summer months but for £3 i couldn't resist.

Swatches

As you can see in the finger swatch, the product looks pretty orange/peach when you swatch it but as you blend it out it turns a gorgeous peachy highlight and I'm obsessed with it. I find it quite hard to get an accurate swatch when it comes to highlighters but i tried my best, I've uploaded a picture over on my Instagram with a video swatch which shows the product a little better so if you want to see that swatch click here.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with this powder, it's beautiful on the skin and it's perfect for summer. I don't think i would have paid the full £7.99 for it as i probably won't use it outside of summer as it is a little darker for my ghost like skin, but while it was in the sale for £3 I definitely think it's worth picking up!

June Favourites 2017

Hey Whisperers,

How has a whole month passes already?! It feels like it was only yesterday that I was writing my May favourites. I've had some serious writers block this month, but i pushed through it and hopefully you've enjoyed the posts i put up. You probably know what this post is already from the title so let's jump right into it.

June Favourites

I stumbled across this body mist a few weeks ago in the semi-annual sale and I've been in love ever since. It's the perfect summer scent and for £5 it is such a good size. If you've ever tried any of the Victoria's Secret sprays you'll know that they're so strong and you literally only need a few sprays so i know this one is going to last me pretty much all of the summer. The Victoria's Secret sprays are normally £15-16 each so the £5 offer is so good, the sale is still on in store and online so I'd grab some as soon as possible because they're definitely worth it. I couldn't find the link to this one exact one online but it definitely still available in store, so I've instead linked the page for the sale mists instead.

I woke up last week with my mom at the side of my bed with a package and that package contained these incredibly beautiful Unicorn Brushes. I had no idea she had ordered these for me but I'm so glad that she did, they're so beautiful and honestly for £4.98 for a set of 10 the quality is amazing. The blending brush is by far my favourite and I do have to admit it took me a few days to even use them because i was so scared of getting them dirty. Obviously the above picture only shows 5 as i couldn't get them all in a shot but i do have more pictures of them over on my Instagram so if you want to see the eye brushes and the handles make sure you check them out over there.

Primark Brow Cream

I did a little review on this brow cream in one of my Testing Primark Makeup posts and I used it every now and again but recently I've fallen head over heels in love with it. It's super pigmented, creamy and it's so easy to use. For £2 it's definitely worth trying out especially if you love brow pomades because its just a little bit creamier so it's easier to use. I've been using mine pretty much every day for the past month and it's still got at least half left so you really don't need much. Because it's creamy i wasn't expecting it to last too long on the brows but it lasts all day and once it's set it isn't going anywhere. I'd pick this over my NYX Brow Pomade any day and it's half the price! Of course there isn't a link on the website but they do still carry this product in stores, and if you're more of a pencil fan their eyebrow pencil and powder pen is amazing too.

Now contouring is something that although i love the look of I've never really got the hang of. I've had this product in my drawer for months but I've never really tried it out fully then a few weeks ago i decided to give it a go and I've been in love since. It's so easy to use and even though it is a cream product it's so easy to blend out. It looks super natural on my skin which is something that I've found hard when it comes to contouring as most products either look like a line of mud or a line of orange Doritos dust. This one however, is super light and fits my skin tone perfectly. Obviously you do get the highlighting half too but i haven't used it too much, it is super pigmented and creamy though so maybe i should start using it more. I have linked Wilko's as the place to buy it as it's the cheapest place to get it.

This past month I've been obsessed with glitter cut creases and this glitter has been my go to. It's absolutely gorgeous and it stays on all day long. Something i love about it is that it's full of glitter, which although sounds stupid, is something hard to find in a glitter liner. Most other glitter liners that I've tried have been more clear liner based than glitter making it super hard to build up. The only issue I've found with this product is the brush as mine for some reason has become super frayed so applying it in a specific area has become quite difficult but to be honest that was probably my doing and i mean for £2.99 can i really complain?

I know this month's post is mostly beauty products but I've really enjoyed doing my makeup this month, i do have a few more skincare and stationary bits that I'm going to be trying out over the next few weeks so my next favourites is definitely going to be less beauty based!

I hope you enjoyed this month's favourites!
