Primark Haul

Primark Haul

Hey Whisperers,

We all know by now that i have a serious Primark obsession. If i see a Primark I have to go inside, so of course over the past month I've made my fair share of trips and in turn purchases. I haven't done a Primark haul in quite a while so here we are. I hope you enjoy!!

Primark Haul

PS...Pro Anti Blemish Breakout Clearing Gel

I've been breaking out like crazy lately so i picked this up to try and help control my breakouts. I've been using it for a few days and my skin does feel a little better but I'm not too sure if it's helping that much so hopefully if i keep using it i will be able to tell more of a difference. A little of this gel definitely goes a long way so i do think this tube will last me quite a while too which is always a plus.

PS...Pro Colour Corrector Primer in Green

If you struggle with acne or pigmentation, like me, this primer is amazing. It isn't so much of a pore filling primer but it does definitely cancel out any redness or uneven skin. The colour of the primer is pretty much the same colour as the tube, just a shade or two lighter and a like the gel, a little of this product goes a long way. It is definitely more of a moisturiser feeling primer, instead of a silicone one, which before this primer i didn't really love but i think it works really well with this product.

PS....Pro Longwear Mineralized Foundation

I saw this foundation in a JustJodes video a few weeks ago where she compared it to the Estee Lauder Double Wear and I've wanted to try it ever since. Before it was mentioned i saw it everywhere, in every single Primark i went in, shelves fully stocked. Then the moment i actually wanted to try it? Bamn it was gone. My mom finally found this one by chance when she popped into Primark last week and i finally tried it today and I'm honestly in love. It's pale enough for my skin, it doesn't oxidise and it has pretty good coverage too. The only thing i don't love about it is that it is on the thicker side but once i blended it out with a beauty sponge it was fine. If you do see this in store and want to try it I'd pick it up because they seem to be selling out fast.

PS....Hydrating Mist

This is another product i saw in JustJodes video and i of course wanted to try it. In her video she compared it to the Mario Bedescu Spray that I've been looking at buying for quite a while so I'm glad i saw her video and got this instead. I am obsessed with it. It makes my skin feel super soft and hydrated and I've been obsessed with using it before doing my makeup because honestly i have 0 patience when it comes to waiting for moisturisers to sink in and when I'm up at 4:30am i also have 0 energy to do anything so this is a definite easy option. It's a great size for £2 and I'm definitely going to be grabbing a few more the next time i go into store.

NO. 31 Pearl Grey Pomegranate and Fig Room Diffuser

For £1 I couldn't leave this room diffuser behind. It smells amazing, to me it's definitely more on the musky side which i love, it just makes any room feel super cosy. Now although i do love this smell this room diffuser, to me, has made 0 difference in the smell of my room. I don't know if it's just because i got the smaller version or if it just isn't strong enough but i am kind of disappointed by it.

NO.31 Peal Grey Pomegranate And Fig Candle

Like i said i love this scent. I've brought a few of these £1 candles over the past year or so and i honestly love them. They don't burn for too long but for £1 i can't really complain. Unlike the room you can definitely tell that it has been burning, it fills the entire room with the pomegranate and fig scent and i flipping love it.

I know it wasn't a super long haul but i hope you've enjoyed the bits and pieces i've picked up over the past few weeks.

As Always,
Thanks for Reading,
Love,
Soph

Current Music Obsessions

Current Music Obsessions

Hey Whisperers,

I don't know if it's just that a bunch of new music has been released this month but I've just fallen so in love with quite a few new releases. It's been a while since I've done a music post and since I've recently been loving a few new songs i thought I'd share them with you. I hope you enjoy

Current Music Obsessions

Megan Mckenna - Far Cry From Love

Now say what you want about this girl but damn can she sing. I've loved Megan since she first started on Towie and this song just makes me love her more. Her voice is absolutely incredible and I honestly just can't stop listening to it, we all know i love country music so that obviously made me love this song even more. This song, to me, is just so personal and raw, it shows the true Megan instead of just the firecracker that we all see on Towie. I haven't had the chance to watch the TV series that goes along with these new releases but hopefully when i get time I'll still be able to catch it on the ITV Hub.

Gabby Hanna   - Out Loud

This song, just oh my lord. I didn't even know that Gabby sang but wow i do now. Her voice is just something so different and unique to me and I'm 110% obsessed. Just like Megan's song, this song is just so raw and beautiful that it's pretty much impossible not to fall in love with it (clearly it's racked up 4million views in under a week!). I also watched a video of Gabby singing this live and damnnnn this girl doesn't need any form of auto-tune her live performances have been just incredible as her single. Honestly I'm just obsessed.

Ebony Day - Attention (Girls Response)

Now this song isn't a recent release but i clicked on it a few days ago and I've had it on repeat since. Ebony Day is seriously one of the most incredible YouTube artists that I've ever watched. Her covers are absolutely incredible and her voice is just so beautiful and raw. Obviously, this cover has been up for a while but i just couldn't help but fall in love with it. I love the original to this song..... but i kinda love this one more.

Cimorelli - The Night We Met Cover

I honestly don't think that I've ever written a music post without mentioning Cimorelli... but i mean come on they're freaking incredible. Personally, I'd never heard this song before i watched this video but i love it. I love how all of the sisters voices work together and how they just add so much emotion to every cover they do. I still haven't heard the original song.....which i probably should do... but i now know every word so hopefully love the original too. (PS.. how incredible is Lisa's Solo)

So those are my current music obsessions. Listening back to them now i realize that they're pretty much all as low and down as heck but lets be honest that's pretty much my music taste. I haven't been through a breakup, because I'm as single as a freaking pringle and I'm not that down so no need to worry. I just love me some good sad music aha!!

What's your current music obsession?

Birchbox Unboxing - September 2017

13:30:00 1
Birchbox Unboxing - September 2017

Hey Whisperers,

Another month, another Birchbox. I'm going to be honest with you guys, these past few months I've been super disappointed with the boxes that I've had. I have decided to keep my subscription until the end of the year but i am thinking of cancelling it, so if you have any other subscription boxes that you like or that you would like me to un-box let me know!

Birchbox Unboxing - September 2017

What is Birchbox?

If you're new to Birchbox, Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that you receive each month with 5 products to try out. The products can range from sample size to full size and they also range in price. All products in the box can be found on the Birchbox website where the box is purchased for £12.95 each month. Birchbox has introduced a new scheme called Birchbox Benefits, where after 6 months of being subscribed, you become a Birchbox VIP meaning you get the first chance to pick a product or the design of your box each month. As a  Birchbox VIP you also get 15% off everything in the Birchbox shop with it a pretty good deal for just being subscribed.

What I Got This Month

RRP £11 Full Size

First up is this Arrow Colour Enhancing Lip Balm, I was quite excited when i saw this lip balm in my box as going into autumn/winter my lips become super dry so i can never have enough lip balm. I do love the colour enhancing part of this lip balm as it does add a little colour to your lips, on me it makes my lips a super natural mid-toned pink shade which i love. I have previously received an eyeliner from this brand in a birch box so i knew it was going to be good quality, it is also full size which is amazing.

RRP £6.95

This balm feels amazing. I have heard great things about Dr Paw Paw products so i was pretty excited to see it in this months box. The balm is pretty much just a clear lip balm but it feels amazing on the lips, it isn't too greasy or slippy like some other lip balms I've tried. It's also fragrance free which is great because sometimes fragranced lip balms just end up giving me a headache. It does say that you can use this balm on your skin and cuticles too which is pretty interesting so I'm definitely going to have to look into it and check out some reviews online. This product isn't full size, like i had originally thought, but it's a great size.

RRP £22

Ok so this was one of the products that i was the most excited for. I have serious under eye bags so when i saw this Polaar under eye roller ball in my box i was super excited. I tried it out this morning and it made under eyes feel super cooled which was nice. It did take a while for the product to come out and even then it didn't really deposit much. It also felt quite scratchy too, which for under the eyes isn't the best. I'm going to try it out a few more times and hopefully it was just because it was the first time i had used it.

RRP £15 Full Size

This 3-in-1 powder is gorgeous. I saw that i would be getting this in the box design email and i couldn't wait to try it. The picture does make it look a lot more brown toned, but i do have to say that i would never use it as a blush. For me it's definitely too shimmery for a blush, i do however think that it's a gorgeous highlight shade. I also think that it's going to work amazing on the eyes, it's super pigmented and smooth. I'm looking forward to trying it out more. I do think that £15 for it is quite pricey as it does only have 3g of product.

RRP £23

This product is the product that made this months box 100% worth it for me. I've been wanting to try this cleansing balm for so long, but i couldn't justify the £23. I've heard amazing things about it online with people like Manny MUA using it in videos. I haven't yet used it as i haven't worn makeup since i got the box, so i can't wait to use it. It is a smaller sample, but it is quite a high end product so i do understand.

Overall RRP Total Of This Months Box

£77.95

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this months box. I received 2 full size products and an amazing cleanser that I've been wanting to try forever. In the box i did also receive 4 Oliver Bonas stickers and a code for 15% off Oliver Bonas. This box has got a lower total RRP compared to previous boxes but I'm happier with this box than any of the boxes that I've received in the past few months, so hopefully the boxes keep on getting better.

If you want to try out Birchbox feel free to use my link to get £5 off your first box making it just £7.95!

I hope you've enjoyed this months unboxing!
If you have any other boxes you would like me to unbox let me know in the comments below!

Beauty Products I Regret Buying

13:30:00 0
Beauty Products I Regret Buying

Hey Whisperers,

I don't normally do posts like this, but I've been re-organising my makeup collection and i found a few products that honestly, i wondered why i still had so i thought I'd throw them into a post and show you some of the products that i regret buying. I'm normally hyping up products so i thought it would be a good post to write, because lets be honest we all have those products we regret buying! I hope you enjoy...so lets get into the post!

Beauty Products I Regret Buying

£5.00

I brought this highlighting kit after all of the hype that it received online and i was honestly so disappointed. If you haven't seen this product before it consists of two parts, the top part is a powder pan (shown in the picture above) and the second part is a cream highlighter pan . When I've seen other people swatch this palette it looks so metallic and shiny but for me it has barley any pigment and every time I've gone to use it it's just pulled at my base and moved my foundation. The powder for me is more of a matte highlight than a shimmer highlighter, which personally i don't like,  i love the glow of a shimmer highlighter so this is definitely not a go to product for me.

£6.45

I've heard a lot of good things about Eylure so when i saw this pencil in TKMaxx i grabbed it. But now I kinda wish i hadn't. This pencil, for me, is probably one of the worst that I've ever tried. It's super waxy and soft so it just kinda goes wherever it wants when you apply it, but then after a few seconds it sets and you can not blend it. At all. I like to be able to blend my eyebrow products and add more as i go but you definitely can't do that with this product. You can use it if you just want to add it to the end of your brow but you do have to work super fast with it which for me is a no go because i like to spend time doing my makeup.

£16.50

I had been looking at this lipstick for awhile, i swatched it in store and i loved it. So naturally i waited a while and brought it. I don't know if it is just my one, but oh my god is this lipstick terrible. I had swatched the one in store and it was completely different to this one, it is so god damn dry it's like trying to use a crayon as lipstick. It pulls at my lips and it is so difficult to apply. It takes me forever to apply and even then it still looks a mess, i don't think it's at all worth the money. I wouldn't have minded so much but I've more recently tried a Primark lipstick which is practically the same shade for pennies compared to this and its 100x better! I do think they have discontinued this product so i have linked to the general Retro Matte page on MAC instead of this specific lipstick.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Glitter Eyeliners
£15 for whole Calendar

I received these eyeliners in the 2016 Tanya Burr Advent Calendar and I wanted to love them so bad, but i just don't. They look amazing in the tubes but as soon as you go to use them you see how little glitter pay off you get. Every time I've gone to use these liners they've just ruined my eye makeup. They're super gloopy, and they have a super weird texture. I think if they had more glitter in them they wouldn't be as bad but i just can't seem to work with them, for me they give me that Claire's/Kids makeup vibe. They also take forever to dry and then when they do dry they kind of crack and leave your face covered in glitter. I have looked online and they are in the Tanya Burr Calendar this year as well so I'm kind of put off getting it this year.

NO. 7 Eye Shadow Palette
£20

I'm a eye shadow lover, so when i saw this in Boots a few years ago i knew i had to add it to my Christmas wish list. I was extremely lucky and received it and i am grateful but i do wish that i would have been able to swatch it first. This palette was £20, which isn't too bad considering it does have 20 shades but now that I've swatched it i wouldn't even pay that for it. The colours look amazing in the pan but as soon as you apply them to the eye they all look like the same shade. I also can't seem to get much pigment out of any of the shades, no matter how hard i try, they all just seem chalky. The packaging of this palette is also some of the worst I've seen. The palette clicks closed, which i normally love, but this one is literally a nail breaker to open. As soon as you close it, it may as well be glued shut. I have to pry it open with the end of an eye shadow brush or metal nail file it's that hard to open. They do seem to relaunch this palette each year so i do think it will be out at Christmas this year again.

Everyone has products they regret buying and these are just some of mine. I have some amazing products in my collection and even though i don't love these products i am grateful that i had the opportunity and means to buy and try them out. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but I'm definitely going to be removing them from my makeup collection!

Do you have any beauty products that your regret buying?

Urban Decay Naked Heat Review

13:30:00 16
Urban Decay Naked Heat Review

Hey Whisperers,

I'm a little late to this party but I couldn't not review this palette. The palette that I'm talking about is, of course, the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette.  I received this palette as a birthday gift from the incredible Georgia from GeorgiasBeautyBox (aka the most incredible and generous friend ever) and as soon as I opened it I knew I had to review it. So here we are! I do of course want to say a huge thank you to Georgia for not only the incredible present but for also supporting me and my blog I will never be able to thank you enough for all of your support. It honestly means the world to me. So let's get into the post

Packaging

The packaging of this palette is absolutely gorgeous. It's super glossy and the burnt orange and copper shades look amazing together. Also let me just say this palette is super heavy, which I think in turn just shows how high quality it is. One thing I love about this palette is the fact that it also has a large mirror on the inside, which I struggle to find in larger palettes. I have been in store and swatched some of the previous palettes and i do think that this packaging is one of the best that they have come out for in their naked palette series. It also, like all of the other Naked palettes, comes with a double ended eye shadow brush. Now personally, for how expensive this palette is i would think it would have a better brush, don't get me wrong it works fine i just wish the blending side was more fluffy instead of dense so that you can properly blend out the shadow.

Product and Cost

Obviously I did receive this palette as a gift but I did look up the price to let you guys know, this palette retails in Debenhams for £39.50, which i do think is pricey, however i do think it's worth it. In the palette you get 12 shadows, making each one £3.21 which isn't too bad. When it comes to the actual shades i think they're all absolutely gorgeous but i do wish that they had a lighter more gold shade, like half baked from the Naked 2 palette, just to create a little bit of a oomph when using the palette alone. The shades in the palette as is are all pretty similar so they blend together so none of them really add that oomph when you create a look.

Shade By Shade

Ounce

As you can see in the swatches above Ounce is pretty much my skin colour. In the pan i thought it was matte, however when swatched it has the most gorgeous sheen to it. It's the perfect shade for an inner corner or brow bone highlight.

Chaser

Chaser for me, is the perfect transition shade. It isn't very dark but it is still super pigmented and it creates the perfect base for any shadows that go on top. It is matte which i love and it's so easy to blend out.

Sauced

In the pan Sauced looks like a pretty pale brown shade but once you apply it to the eye it's definitely darker than it looks. This was the firs shade i tried out actually on my eyes and it's so pigmented. I tapped my brush in it once and it applied more than enough pigment which i love.

Low Blow

Low Blow is pretty much your basic brown shade, however, although basic i don't think the palette would be complete without it. It's the perfect crease shade and it adds a little more drama to any look you create, i can definitely see it being one of my most used shades in the palette.

Lumbre

My favourite shade in the palette. Lumbre is such a beautiful pink shade with golden reflects. As soon as i opened the palette this was the shade my eye was drawn to it's just so gorgeous. It's also packed full of pigment, i did find out pretty quickly that the shimmers in this palette apply much better with your finger than a brush, which i don't mind as i apply most shimmer shades with my finger anyway.

He Devil

He Devil is such a unique shade, it's such a pretty brick red shade and I'm in love with it. I don't have anything like this shade in my collection so I'm super excited to try and work it into some darker eye looks now autumn is starting.

Dirty Talk

Dirty Talk is another one of my favourite shades, it's incredibly pigmented and it has a gorgeous shine to it. It's definitely more of an orange toned gold which of course goes with the palette too.

Scorched

Scorched is such a beautiful copper shade and i love it. Out of all the shimmer shades in the palette this one is definitely the most metallic and shiny, it is a little darker than Dirty Talk but when next to each other it is quite hard to tell which is which.

Cayenne

Cayenne is pretty much your standard matte brown shade. It's super pigmented so you really don't need a lot of it, alike Low Blow it is a lot darker swatched than in the pan so it's definitely a shade that you use a lighter hand with.

En Fuego

En Fuego, for me, is probably the 'weakest' shade in the palette. It isn't as pigmented as the other shades and it isn't as easy to blend out either. It is a gorgeous deep brown and it is amazing when creating a smokey eye but it does take a little longer to blend.

Ashes

Ashes was a super hard shade for me to get a decent swatch of. I don't know if it's just my palette, but this shade is a little, dare i say it, gritty in the pan. The shade when swatched however it super blendable and it's definitely pigmented. I have swatched it a little more while I'm sitting here and now I've swatched it a few times it isn't as gritty as before so i don't know if it was just some kind of film on the top.

Ember

Last but definitely not least is Ember. This shade is absolutely gorgeous, I don't really know how to describe it, it's kind of a plum shade but it also has pink reflects in it. It's such a pigmented, shiny shade and i know I'll use it a lot when i do smokey eyes.

Overall Thoughts

Overall, this palette has completely won me over. I 100% understand the hype that's surrounded it, the shades are incredibly pigmented, it is gorgeously packaged, it blends like a dream. I just love it. The shades themselves are more of the red/orange range so if you aren't a lover of that kind of eye look i would say this palette isn't for you. I also don't think this palette is for beginners, it's definitely a palette you have to work with and be careful with because you can easily over do it with some of the shades. If you are someone new to makeup and you want to try out a warm toned palette  i definitely recommend the Zoeva Caramel Melange Palette or the NYX Warm Neutrals palette.

I of course couldn't end the post without thanking Georgia again for this incredible gift, i am so thankful for not only the palette but also all of the support you give me! It honestly means the world to be able to have someone to go on this blogging journey with. Of course don't forget to check out Georgia's blog here too as she recently relaunched with an incredibly gorgeous theme and even more incredible posts!

What do you think of the palette?

Not Worth Reading

Not Worth Reading

Hey Whisperers,

I've pretty much been sitting at my computer for the past half an hour trying to figure out what to write for today's post and I'm still yet to come up with anything. That's the thing about blogging, sometimes you just don't have anything to write. I've had a few ideas and I've sat and wrote an intro, read it back and deleted the post. I just don't know what to write, so instead of writing some half-arsed post i thought that instead of my usual beauty posts, I'd just talk to you. I don't know where this post is going to go, or if I'll even post it, but hey i may as well give it a try.

So last month was my birthday, yippee, i finally turned 20 and honestly? I was pretty gutted about it. Now don't get me wrong i know that turning 20 is nothing big, but i just feel like I'm not, i don't know, like young anymore? Which believe me i know is stupid I'm 20 not 100 but it's just how i feel. I also got an amazing gift from my friend Georgia and i absolutely love it (review of it coming soon) but at the same time i feel so bad for accepting it because i don't feel like i deserve it. I know that she'll be reading this thinking that I'm being a Muppet but i never know what to do or say when people surprise me with gifts as amazing as the one she surprised me with. I just feel like a crappy friend.

One of my best friends has also just had a baby and i kid you not it's sent me into a whirlwind of wondering what the fuck i am doing with my life. When i look at my friends it just seems as if they are all working towards something incredible, i mean come on she's just had a freaking baby, her second one at that too! And IBM just sat here working a dead end job, as single as a pringle with literally no life goals or anything to work towards. Like honestly what am i doing? like if you have any idea please let me know because i have zero clue.

My weight has also been playing on my mind a lot these past few weeks, with it being summer I've seen so many bikini pictures plastered all over Instagram, while I'm sat here in my high waisted jeans and baggy tops because i hate my stomach and don't like my arms. I feel like complaining about your weight has become such a taboo subject, it just seems to be shot down. You feel big? Loose weight. You feel too skinny? Eat more. But it isn't that easy, I've gone on diets, I've worked out 5-6 days a week and it got me nowhere. I was miserable. Now don't get me wrong, i know that if i had stuck with it for longer than 3 months i probably would have seen more of a result but i just felt so miserable. I was running on low constantly and i just didn't have the patience for it. My goal for the next year is to start a diet and work out plan, i know it's not going to be easy but i, for once, just need to stick with it.

I think the one thing I've actually been enjoying over the past few months is my blog. I absolutely love it but at the same time i can't help but compare myself to everyone else. Are my pictures good enough? Are my posts the right kind of posts? Am i getting enough views? Is my Twitter following growing? It's become exhausting and i don't know why i am so obsessed with each of those things because i don't actually care about any of it. I started my blog to share how i feel, i know I'm not the biggest beauty blogger in the world and i don't mind if nobody reads my post, but at the same time i feel like I'm a failure if they don't. I just need to start focusing and posting about what makes me happy instead of what i think people would like to read.

Honestly, i don't even know why I've written this post and I'm in two minds about posting it. I've never really been this open and honest with you guys but i think that it's something that i need to start doing more. I love my blog and i love everybody that takes the time out of their day to read it because it honestly does mean the world to me.

Thanks for Reading,
Love Always,
Soph

August Favourites 2017

13:30:00 2
August Favourites 2017

Hey Whisperers,

I apologise for the monthly cliche but seriously, where have the past 4 weeks gone?! This month has been a busy one for me, I've celebrated my 20th birthday, I've been on holiday (I'm on my way home as you're reading this), I've planned my blogmas posts and I've also written and posted my first sponsored post (read that here) it's honestly been amazing. Over the past month, with all of that going on, i haven't really tried out too many new products, I've just been reaching for what i already own so this months favourites is pretty much a makeup based one as those are the only products I've had time for this month so i hope you enjoy.

August Favourites 2017

Now i mentioned this in my last post and i said that it wasn't the best which i still agree with, however this concealer under my foundation on my breakouts has been a lifesaver this past month. I've been applying it to my breakouts then blending it out with a small blending brush and it's helped keep them covered all day. I don't think I'll be using it under my eyes as it is a tad too dark for my liking but for breakouts it gives me a little extra help which is perfect and i mean for £2.50 can i really complain?

I've dipped in and out of this bronzer over the past few months but for some reason this month I've completely fallen in love with it. It's the perfect shade, it blends flawlessly, i honestly can't fault it at all. No matter what i do this makes my face look so bronzed and healthy, it is a little pricey but honestly i think its 100% worth it. I do recommend using a light hand with it though as it is super pigmented, but if you go a little mad with it, it's super easy to blend out with some powder!

I've been a huge fan of Jemma from Dork Face Blogs Etsy shop for ages but i haven't had the chance to sit down and order, but this month i finally had the chance to, and I'm so glad i did. I am completely and utterly obsessed with these prints and stickers i ordered (close up pictures here). The quality of them is not only incredible but i mean come on they're absolutely adorable. The Lets Run Away And Join The Circus Print is a print I've been looking at for so long i just think its so cute  and fun. The Blog Stickers are also something I've loved the look of for months, they each have sayings like 'Take Photos', 'Blog Event' , 'Schedule Tweets' and 'Reply To Comments' which is exactly what I've been needing, because lets be honest getting everything done on time when you're blogging and working too is a task in itself. I am saving these for when i have my 2018 planner so keep your eyes open in the new year because these are going to be all over my social media!. Last but definitely not least, the It Might Be Hard But You Can Totally Do This is a print I've loved for SO long and when i saw that Jemma had popped this in my order for free i honestly nearly cried. I have gone back to this quote so much over the past year and it's honestly got me through a lot of stuff so Jemma definitely made my day, i can't wait to get it framed!

If you know me, you know that i have the most pale ass skin ever, so when i saw this L'Oreal foundation on Sophie Louise's YouTube channel i knew i had to try it out. This foundation has amazing coverage, it's super pale and it lasts a hell of a long time. I have super oily face so most foundations last around 4-6 hours on my face before they start looking super oily but this one stays matte for around 7-8 hours before i need to powder which for me is amazing.

I've had this palette since Christmas but for some reason I've never used it, then this month i reached for it once and i haven't stopped using it since. I've fallen in love with the top two blush shades they're super pigmented and they blend like a dream, they also aren't too dark which is perfect when you're a pale ghost like me. The highlight shades in this palette are also gorgeous, they aren't super blinding so they aren't too in your face which recently I've been loving. For £ this palette is definitely a must have for me now.

I've loved trying to use up more of my makeup collection this month and I've definitely found some new must haves while doing it. I know this months favourites were more beauty based but i hope you enjoyed them!!

5 Under £5 - Makeup

Hi Whisperers,

A few weeks ago i did a post on 5 skincare products under £5 and you guys really seemed to enjoy it and so today I'm back again, but this time I'm bringing some of my all time favourite beauty products to you. Because lets be honest there's nothing better than finding a good makeup I have really been enjoying writing these posts so let me know if you would like more of them! I hope you enjoy.

5 Under £5 -  Makeup

I Heart Makeup Goddess Of Love Highlighter Tripe Baked Highlighter

£4.99

If you've been a long time reader you'll know that i absolutely love this highlighter. It's super pigmented and it leaves you with such a beautiful glittery glow. It is super golden so it's perfect for a bronzed summer look. I have also used it a few times as an eye shadow because I'm just that obsessed with it. I also tend to always add way too much highlight, but this one is super blendable so i never have to worry. I did write a post on this product a lone quite awhile ago so if you want to see swatches of it click here.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Lipstick in Absolutely Flawless

£2.49

If you've never tried a Makeup Revolution lipstick you've been missing out. These lipsticks are some of the most creamy and pigmented lipsticks that i have ever tried. As you can tell by the bullet of this one, it is my one true love when it comes to lipstick. No matter how many lipsticks I try I always love this one especially for summer. Matte lips are a big thing right now, but in the summer wearing a matte lip is literally like torture so i love the creamy, glossy finish of this one. These lipsticks are only £2.49 and i don't have a single complaint about them. The darker shades, are a little patchy but after two coats they're fine, and for £2.49 i can't really complain about that.

Collection Extreme Coloured Lengthening Mascara

£2.99

This mascara was one of the first mascara's i ever tried and i still love it now. For £2.99 this mascara does everything.. literally everything. It separates the lashes,  lengthens them and adds volume too it's amazing. They do also do a waterproof version which i definitely recommend for the summer time as it does not budge at all. I have had this tube quite a long time (Gross i know) but it has now changed to a metallic pink packaging which  I love, so if you do look in store for this it's now pink!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01 Fair

£4.19

Do I even really need to mention this concealer in this post? This beauty cult favourite is literally the best concealer I've ever used. It is so pigmented and blendable and the coverage of this bad boy is insane. I do love, love, love this concealer but i do have to say the shade range is a joke, especially if you're of a darker skin colour. This concealer has 4 shades yep just 4, they range from fair to dark and even as a pale ass ghost i still know that the dark shade of this concealer is no darker than the caramel in my Mars Bar *link here to a swatch i found online*. If you are of a paler skin tone however, this concealer is perfect for under the eyes and for concealing blemishes.

Makeup Revolution Blush in Treat

£1

These blushes are the biggest bargains I've ever found, they're insanely pigmented and they blend like an absolute dream. My favourite *pictured above* is the shade Treat, it's the perfect peach/pink colour and it suits every single makeup look i do. I've had this blush a while and i use it everyday and as you can see I've barley even made a dent in it! I always go super heavy on my blush because i have 0 self control, so the fact that this is super blendable is great for me. Out of all of the blushes I've tries, this one is amazing i reach for it over all of my 'higher end' blushes all the time.

There's nothing better than finding a good beauty bargain! I hope that this post has helped you find a few new products, that won't break the bank!

My Everyday Makeup

My Everyday Makeup

Hey Whisperers,

The last time i did an everyday makeup post was February last year and since then i have changed so much and in turn so has my makeup. So instead of sharing another product review with you guys i thought that today i would share my everyday makeup with you instead. Before i get into this post i do want to just pop this oh-so-fun disclaimer in, I know that i wear a lot of makeup, but it's just what i personally like to wear. I know for some people this is way too much makeup and i respect that.. so yeah.. lets get into the post.

My Current Everyday Makeup

Base

I start of my makeup each day with the Barry M Poreless Correcting Primer, honestly i don't think it really does much when it comes to correcting or blurring my pores but it does help my face look moisturised and it helps my makeup stick so I'm trying to use it up. I then apply my current foundation, the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation in 105. This foundation is so damn pale and  i love it. If you don't know, my skin is on par with Caspar the friendly ghosts so this foundation is amazing. I then use the Essence Camouflage Concealer which, honestly, i still haven't decided if i like yet. It's super creamy and it does have good coverage (definitely not full coverage like it says) but it just isn't as light as i would like, they do have a lighter shade online so i may order that to try it out, but for £2.50 it's a pretty decent concealer.

Powder

My everyday face powder has been the Mac Mineralise Studio-Fix Powder  for around 6-7 months, now don't get me wrong i love my Rimmel Stay Matte but this one just makes my skin look so smooth that i can't help but love it. After my powder i add my bronzer, which has recently been the Mini Benefit Hoola Bronzer, this bronzer is incredible. It's the perfect shade, it blends like a dream and i kid you not one mini lasts for so long, I've had this one since Christmas and it hasn't even got a dip in it yet. After bronzer i add my all time favourite blush, the L'Oreal True Match Blush in Peach. This blush is so pigmented it's incredible, it blends like a dream so even with my heavy hand it still looks gorgeous on the skin. Up next is my highlight, i have pretty much been obsessed with the Models Own Sculpt and Glow Powder in Golden Sand since i reviewed it a few months ago (read here). It adds the most gorgeous glow and it blends like a dream instead of just sitting in a giant clump on your cheek.

Sculpt and Set

Of course i can't forget the contour. I've recently been trying out the Primark Contour Kit and honestly, it isn't too bad. It isn't overly pigmented but i prefer my contour powders to be less pigmented or i over do my contour and just end up with a brown line, this one is the perfect cool toned brown and it blends like an absolute dream. I then set my face with the Rimmel #Insta Fix and Go Setting Spray. Honestly, i haven't really found a setting spray that has made me go, well shit that's good. This one by Rimmel is a current favourite because the mist is so fine and it feels amazing on my skin, but honestly, it leaves my skin looking the same as all my other setting sprays have.

Eyes

I fill in my brows before i set my face but i didn't think they fit into the picture i took so... here it is... I use the Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Palette in Medium/Darki use the lightest shade in the front of my brow and gradually go darker throughout the brow finishing them off with the dark gel on the ends and carving them out with a little concealer, it leaves my brows with the perfect gradient fill and it blends together perfectly. If you've been a reader for awhile you'll know that i can't do anything with my eye makeup without applying my Maybelline Creamy Matte Color Tattoo in Creme De Rose this cream shadow is literally the best eye base I've ever tried. After I've applied it i do set it with my face powder as it just helps blend the shadows a little easier. I then use my Zoeva Caramel Melange Palette (read my review here), pretty much using the same shade, Alchemy, every day in my crease (hence me hitting pan) and then i apply a mix of 182 and Almost Burnt to my lid. I then use my MUA LUXE Precision Liner  to do my winged liner, when i first got this liner i hated it because i had no patience when it came to it drying, but I've learnt to do the wing first then the line along my lashes and it works fine. It's super pigmented and it doesn't budge, even when my eyes water which is literally every damn day. Last but by no means least is lashes. I change my mascara weekly because i just get bored but when I'm writing this post I've been using the Avon Mark Big and Daring Mascara, it's a pretty good mascara but it definitely isn't my favourite. It's a little dry and it can flake, but apart from that it is super good when it comes to length and volume!

I do have days when i wear no makeup  but there's just something about applying my full face of makeup that i love.

I hope you've enjoyed today's post!

Do you wear the same makeup everyday or do you change it up everyday?
